Does prompt caching work for Claude?
Yes. Add cache_control: {"type":"ephemeral"} to the content blocks you want cached (Chat Completions), or use the native Anthropic Messages API at https://mimxo.com/v1/messages. Cache reads are billed at the discounted cache price.
Is this the official API?
No. Mimxo AI is an independent gateway that relays requests to the official Anthropic API through OpenRouter.
